Our aim is to consistently exceed our customer's expectations by delivering superior results every time. We provide mechanical repairers and services for cars, light-medium commercial and heavy vehicles.
MAS Vehicle Specialists is an industry leading commercial refrigerated vehicle specialist offering a comprehensive refrigeration transport solution to our clients, including refrigeration truck body maintenance and servicing and fleet management solutions with most of our clients being in the Foodservice industry.
We are looking at expanding our services in our modern workshop located in Silverwater.. We are a close-knit team who values great customer service & a happy safe workplace environment.
The role will include but is not limited to -
o Working on various vehicle types, ranging from cars, light-medium commercial to heavy vehicles.
o Diagnosis of faults
o Testing and assembling parts
o Quality mechanical scheduled and preventive servicing and repairs
o Assist with the evaluation and road testing of customer's vehicles
o Recording correct and accurate time sheets and job cards
o Liase with Parts team to ensure correct parts are ordered/allocated
o Maintaining the workshop in a clean, safe and professional condition
o Undertake other duties as assigned

About you -
o MUST be an Australian Citizen or have a valid visa with correct work permit - Candidates requiring sponsorship or visas will not be considered in this instance.
o Must hold a current Australian Driver's license, LR – HC preferrable
o Must have current MVRL license
o Have at least 2-5 years practical experience working on commercial medium to heavy vehicles
o Experience working with refrigerated vehicles is a plus, but not required
o Must be skilled in diagnosing and repairing vehicles and components
o Have a strong work ethic, be honest and reliable with a "can do" attitude and have the ability to multitask
o Have ability work with minimal supervision, work as a team and also as an individual
o Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment while upholding attention to detail
o Must have great communication and organisational skills
o Aptitude in using various hand tools & precision measurement tools (e.g. vernier calipers)
o Provide your own hand tools (some workshop tools/equipment will be provided)
o Aircon License is a plus, but not a requirement
