Position Summary The Commercial Manager FPA - ANZ will report into the VP FPA - APAC and will lead our Commercial Finance team across the ANZ region. You will support and collaborate with the ANZ senior management and executive teams in addition to finance and other business departments to support and monitor the business’ strategic, financial and operational plans. Key responsibilities will include: - Support all commercial finance activities across the region, working closely with the executive team, senior management team and corporate colleagues. - Leading all financial modelling processes for the region and input into the production of financial budgets and forecasts including: - Delivery of multi-year and rolling monthly financial planning processes. - Delivery of processes for commercial planning and realisation and tracking of financial benefits. - Development and delivery of in-year targets. - Coordination of all relevant KPIs - Support the GL team in the preparation of the monthly results with relevant insights. - Identify opportunities & risks arising from stakeholder insights and review there implications on key milestones and targets making recommendations value-add analysis, insights and analytics. - Providing financial support for strategic and tactical commercial decisions, challenging assumptions and providing commercial appraisal, service unit / product costing and pricing, "what-if" financial modelling and other ad-hoc financial requests. - Liaise with other International FP&A leads to ensure standardisation of reporting and analysis - Providing operational support to the business across the management of Inventory, Cash & Working Capital. - Providing analysis on margin as well as managing Operational Cost. - Ownership of opex and headcount analysis - Champion of continued automation of the finance processes. - Bring together financial and non-financial information to support decision making and explain what is happening in the business. - Support the Financial Analyst ANZ - Adhoc analysis as required Experience - Experience within a global corporate FP&A environment. - Progression of seniority in roles experience of commercial presentations of management information. - Alongside having a strong financial modelling skill set using Excel and other financial modelling FP&A tools, you will be able to demonstrate the communication and influencing skills and personality required to deal with senior non-finance teams and colleagues. Knowledge, Skills & Experience We require able to demonstrate: Essential - Previous experience of working in a large finance team - Robust analytical & financial modelling skills - Thorough approach to work - Time management and ability to prioritise - Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft office packages; Outlook, Word and Excel Desirable - Strong knowledge of Hyperion - Qualified finance professional - IFRS and US GAAP experience - Industry/Sector experience Skill Requirements - Able to follow and distribute detailed instructions accurately. - A team player who is happy to work in an environment of mutual support. - A self-starter, able to prioritise own workload and manage time. - Able to build positive business relationships and work collaboratively. - Flexible and willing to assist where required. - Approachable in nature and able to work well with non-financial areas of the business. - Good interpersonal skills and a high level of customer service. - Strong verbal & written communication skills with the ability to distil complex financial implications to non-finance colleagues. - Able to operate at all levels, by staying connected to the details as well as being able to step back and see the bigger picture.
