Aurec Pty Ltd are searching for a Mechanical Engineering Technician to assist in the maintenance of an automated manufacturing plant, as well as the planning and implementing of maintenance strategies and improvements in the production line.

Your salary would be $80,000-$100,000 + Super

Your Responsibilities

As part of your new role you will be in control of tasks such as:

- The planning and supervision of preventative maintenance of our manufacturing machines and tools
- Preparing technical drawings for any outstanding mechanical works and assisting engineers in designing any improvements the plant
- Executing the designed improvements by installation and/or fabrication of those
- Keeping track and ordering necessary consumables and materials while considering the budget put in place
- Working together with onsite Installers for any alterations needed of installation equipment or tools

About you
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an industrial environment or comparable job position
- Trained in using a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
- Excellent in interpreting and drafting of technical drawings
- Experienced in operating CNC machines
- Confident in designing and implementing improvements in production lines
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently.

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
