About The Role
As the Quality Administrator, you'll work closely with the Management Representative to enhance and maintain MCC's Quality and Environmental Systems. You'll play a key role in ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and HACCP standards, applying your strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and safe handling practices. This role plays a key part in fostering a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement across the business.
Duties include
- Driving, strengthening & supporting the implementation of the QHSE plan whilst helping improve the QHSE performance of the site through positive influence & strong communication.
- Monitor and manage quality, environmental, food safety, and HACCP standards, identifying and recording any internal or external non-conformances.
- Investigate root causes of quality issues and implement effective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Ensure timely closure of NCRs with robust corrective and preventive actions in place.
- Lead or coordinate corrective action teams as required, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly quality reports for management, including statistical analysis of customer and internal NCR trends.
- Champion quality management principles (QMS) and promote their consistent application across all business activities.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of the QMS to ensure compliance, effectiveness, and continual improvement.
- Drive a strong quality culture by working closely with leaders and teams to embed best practices and continuous improvement.
About You (criteria)
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant health, safety, environment, or quality systems management field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Comprehensive knowledge & understanding of WHS & Environmental legislation, codes of practice & standards.
- The ability to manage non-conformances through effective corrective action review and assessment.
- Experience in influencing & effecting impactful QHSE changes in team culture in alignment with the strategic direction of the organisation.
- Auditing qualification preferred, but not essential.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
