**Join a growing Commercial Plumbing company and play a vital role in supporting our expanding operations.**
Due to ongoing growth in our Commercial Plumbing Projects division, we’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Administration/Purchasing Assistant to join our Head Office team. This is a newly created, full-time position designed to support our projects in staying on track—on time and on budget—through efficient procurement and supplier coordination.
You’ll work closely with Project Managers, site teams, and suppliers, becoming the go-to person for all purchasing and administrative needs. From sourcing materials and placing orders to managing deliveries and documentation, your support will be essential to keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Raise purchase orders for project-related materials and equipment
- Source and liaise with suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and product quality
- Request and follow up on quotes and order confirmations
- Monitor and manage order status and delivery schedules
- Resolve supplier issues, delivery delays, and pricing discrepancies
- Assist with general job administration and coordination
- Use SimPRO or similar software (training can be provided)
**Additional Administration Tasks (Training Provided)**
- **Start of Project**:_
- Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
- Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Fixture Approval Documentation
- **Project Completion**:_
- As-built drawings and documentation
- Compliance and commissioning records
- Operations & maintenance manuals
**About You**
- Experience in purchasing and strong administration skills (highly desirable)
- Background in the construction industry (preferred but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Confident communicator—both verbal and written
- Familiar with SimPRO or similar systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of MYOB or Xero is a plus
- Positive, can-do attitude and a strong team player

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
