The Company

For 16 years our client has been one of Melbourne's top styling groups, encompassing four distinct styling companies, all dedicated to transforming homes with bespoke interior design. We are looking for an energetic, highly organized, and results-oriented Marketing Generalist . This newly created and pivotal role will oversee the complete marketing function for the entire group, manage four different digital brand presences, lead a remote team, and drive the sales lead generation and qualification processes.

The Role

This is a critical, high-impact position perfect for a professional who excels at managing complexity and variety. You will be the central figure ensuring brand consistency and marketing effectiveness across all four companies.

Brand & Digital Management (Core Focus)

• Manage four distinct brand identities and websites, ensuring all content is current, engaging, and reflective of each company's unique value proposition
• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive SEO strategy , focusing on keyword research, content optimization, and technical SEO improvements to drive organic traffic..
• Coordinate the development, implementation, and management of the comprehensive social media content calendar for all four companies across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok and Linkedin).
• Coordinate the creation of marketing materials, including email newsletters, blog posts, videos, and website copy, ensuring they are consistently high-quality, on-brand, and SEO-optimized.
• Track, analyze, and report on digital campaign performance (social media, email, website) to optimize strategy and ROI across the group.

Team Leadership & Management

• Supervise and manage the day-to-day tasks of two remote Virtual Assistants (VAs), ensuring quality control and timely delivery of work across all four companies.
• Delegate administrative, content support, and basic digital tasks effectively to the VAs.
• Provide clear direction, training, and feedback to the VAs to maximize their productivity and skill development.

Client Management & Sales Support

• Act as the first point of contact for marketing-generated inquiries (via social DMs, website forms, etc.), providing warm, prompt, and brand-consistent responses.
• Qualify leads by gathering necessary information and effectively transitioning them to the appropriate sales or styling consultant within the correct company.
• Develop and manage systems (e.g., using a So High CRM)) for tracking lead status and client communication across the group.

What You'll Bring:

• Proven experience (3+ years) in a broad marketing role with demonstrated success in social media management, lead qualification, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to seamlessly manage multiple projects and four distinct brand strategies simultaneously is non-negotiable.
• Prior experience supervising or delegating tasks to assistants or junior team members is a significant advantage.
• Strong practical knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs) and experience implementing on-page and off-page optimization strategies.
• Expert-level knowledge of social media platforms, content creation tools, and familiarity with managing different websites/CMS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable engaging with potential clients and leading a small team.
• A keen eye for aesthetics, impeccable attention to detail, and a genuine passion for styling or design.
• Having a Video/photography interest would be benefical.
