Aeralife is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Procurement Manager to lead procurement functions across our network of 11 Residential Aged Care Homes. This is a critical leadership role reporting to the Head of Asset Management & Procurement, responsible for the full procurement lifecycle – from strategy development and market analysis to contract negotiation and supplier performance management.

This role requires regular travel to operational sites across Victoria and New South Wales.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Product Category Managers in developing robust category plans through cost analysis, supplier research, and market data.
  • Maintain and manage product lists and pricing within the ARM / Epicor procurement system.
  • Classify expenditure into relevant procurement categories and support the development of sourcing strategies.
  • Lead procurement and tender processes, from documentation to evaluation and negotiation.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure end-user needs are reflected in procurement strategies.
  • Monitor supplier performance and contractual compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for contract or supplier consolidation and cost efficiencies.
  • Conduct ad hoc reporting and data analysis to support strategic decisions.

What You Will Bring:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in Procurement Management is essential.
  • Previous experience in contract and category management in a medium to large multi-site health sector organisation.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement systems and tools, particularly Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g. Epicor)
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and develop working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to travel regularly to various locations across VIC and NSW as required
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check

Desired:

  • Knowledge and experience in the aged care sector.
  • Tertiary qualification in procurement, contract management, business, health or related discipline.
