**About the role**:
Our Supply Chain Procurement team are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their high performing team. Reporting into the Senior Category Manager, you will support the Category Managers with analytical requirements to support the development of Category strategies. You will be responsible for maintaining up to date Ariba activities, ensuring benefits are effectively tracked and reported while supporting the endorsement and approval of initiatives.

You’ll also:

- Track, monitor, analyse and provide insights to support the development of category strategies, sourcing events, and direct negotiation
- Lead and support RFX process as directed by Category managers
- Provide analytical and operational support for strategic sourcing, SRM, contract performance management, reporting and other procurement activities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing processes, documents, templates, and policies
- Support and engage stakeholders to develop and embed procurement initiatives and projects
- Support reporting activities for the area and the procurement team

**About you and your skills**:
We’re after a highly skilled procurement professional looking for a new challenge. You will be a self-starter and enjoy working in fast paced environments.

You’ll also need:

- An understanding of sourcing, category management, supplier performance management and SRM practices
- The ability to undertake research, collate and update market intelligence, commodity research and data mining for key categories
- An understanding of TCO, should cost, and value chain analysis principles is preferred
- Strong numerical and analytical skills as well as business acumen and excellent negotiation skills
