We are looking for an Experienced Quality & Risk Advisor to join our team. You will work closely with the Leadership Team and be responsible for maintaining a quality, compliance and risk framework across the organization to ensure Southcare maintains accreditation with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards. You will provide specialist knowledge on risk governance.
This is a part-time role (22.5 hours per week).

Southcare is looking for an experienced Quality and Risk Advisor to join our team.
This is a part time role, working 3 days per week.
About the role
Quality & Risk Governance:
- Quality and Risk Advisor is the subject Matter Expert for Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards
- Review, develop and implement strategies to improve Southcare's quality, risk and compliance systems
- Coordinate and manage Southcare compliance, risk and continuous improvement database (Risk Wizzard)
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures relating to Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Providing expertise and advice to the Quality Commitee, Safety committee and the Quality Care Advisory commitee
Audits/Reporting:
- Responsible for developing, maintaining and actioning the internal and external quality audit plan
- Plan and lead Quality audits both internal and external to the organisation using formal audit processes
- Provide monthly reporting on quality, risk and compliance activities and performance to the Quality commitee.
Training:
- Provide training to new and existing staff on the Quality Management and Risk Management systems as required
In order to succeed in this role you will have:
- Qualifications and/or relevant experience in risk, compliance and auditing
- Experience in coordinating accreditation processes including associated audits and preparation of relevant documentation.
- Knowledge of Quality standards would be desirable.
- Demonstrated experience designing, developing, evaluating and implementing a quality, risk and compliance system in aged/health care setting or similar
- Experience implementing organizational wide change management strategies to support new quality, risk processes and initiatives
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills, including working successfully across multidisciplinary teams with diverse communities.
- Ability to research and prepare reports and deliver to multiple audiences
