Southcare is looking for an Administration Assistant to work within the Community Home Support Team to assist with a variety of administration tasks.

This is a part time role, working 3 days per week.  The role would suit a busy Mum who wants flexibility, a student, or anyone who loves Admin tasks with variety

About the role

12 Month Fixed Term Contract role

Specific tasks include:

• Maintaining and reviewing of existing CHSP (Commonwealth Home Support) participants by undertaking an annual review for each participant
• Liaising with My Aged Care and assessors as required
• Updating participant care plans and documentation
• Coordinating on line referrals to My Aged Care
• Conducting phone on boards with participants
• Completion of documentation for onboarding

Excellent attention to detail is required and an empathetic nature in conversing with our elderly participants.

In order to succeed in this role you will have:

• A current National Police Clearance less than 3 months old (essential)
• A genuine interest in aged care and a commitment to making a difference to the lives of older Australians (essential).
• Previous administration skills
• Excellent interpersonnel skills
• Advanced computer skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with customers.
• Excellent time management skills with an ability to remain calm under pressure
