Job Description

• Prepare and present high-quality pastry dishes and desserts in line with our luxury standards.
• Assist in the creation of new pastry recipes and menu items that showcase creativity and originality.
• Collaborate with the Head Pastry Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Train and mentor junior pastry staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all pastry items.

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie - Pastry or a similar role in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification in pastry/bakery.
• Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and a passion for innovation.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
