We're seeking a versatile Builder to join our Building & Civil division. Reporting to the Building & Civil Supervisor, you'll play a hands-on role in delivering construction and civil engineering projects across metro and remote locations. This role is ideal for someone with trade experience who thrives on variety, teamwork, and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake a wide range of building and civil construction tasks, including excavation, formwork, concreting, carpentry, demolition, and general site works.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, ensuring works are completed accurately and to standard.
  • Operate hand tools, small plant, and construction machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Carry out site preparation, material handling, and general labouring duties to support project delivery.
  • Work closely with supervisors, trades, and project teams to coordinate activities and meet project schedules.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised worksite at all times.
  • Travel to metro and remote locations, adapting to different site conditions and environments.
  • Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations, reporting hazards or incidents promptly.
  • Complete accurate and timely work documentation, including daily reports and timesheets.

About You

  • Trade background in building, carpentry, or civil construction (Certifications desirable).
  • Experience across multiple construction disciplines and ability to work autonomously or in a team.
  • Physically fit and capable of manual work in varying weather and site conditions.
  • Current driver's licence and construction white card.
  • Willingness to work away on remote projects when required.
  • Strong communication skills, punctuality, and a proactive attitude toward safety and quality.
