About the business and the role

Ugland Engineering is a locally owned Western Australian company based in Newman. Our core business involves the repair and maintenance of mine site plant and equipment in both onsite and off-site environments.

We're looking for experienced Shed Builders to join the team. You will be responsible for the construction and installation of high-quality sheds and other outdoor structures for our residential and commercial clients. This is a full-time position that will involve both on-site and off-site work.

What you'll be doing

  1. Interpreting and following construction plans and specifications to build sheds, carports, and other outdoor structures
  2. Measuring, cutting, and assembling steel, timber, and other materials to construct the desired structures
  3. Installing foundations, flooring, walls, roofs, and any additional features or accessories
  4. Ensuring all work meets industry standards and local building codes
  5. Communicating with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates on project progress
  6. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment throughout the construction process
