We're looking for an experienced Switchboard Builder to join our team in Belmont. This full-time role suits someone with a solid background in switchboard assembly, including Mechanical Services Switchboards, Direct Digital Controllers (DDCs), PLCs, and general switchboard arrangements.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for building and wiring high-quality switchboards for a range of commercial and industrial projects. Working within a skilled workshop team, you'll produce boards that meet Australian standards and client specifications, supporting projects across WA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and wire Mechanical Services Switchboards
  • Integrate DDC and PLC controllers into switchboard builds
  • Work from electrical drawings and general arrangement diagrams
  • Ensure compliance with standards, safety, and quality requirements
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet deadlines
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in switchboard building
  • Knowledge of MSB, DDCs, PLCs, and GA layouts
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
  • Team player with a proactive and safety-first approach
