Switchboard Builder

We're looking for an experienced Switchboard Builder to join our team in Belmont. This full-time role suits someone with a solid background in switchboard assembly, including Mechanical Services Switchboards, Direct Digital Controllers (DDCs), PLCs, and general switchboard arrangements.
About the RoleYou'll be responsible for building and wiring high-quality switchboards for a range of commercial and industrial projects. Working within a skilled workshop team, you'll produce boards that meet Australian standards and client specifications, supporting projects across WA.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and wire Mechanical Services Switchboards
- Integrate DDC and PLC controllers into switchboard builds
- Work from electrical drawings and general arrangement diagrams
- Ensure compliance with standards, safety, and quality requirements
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet deadlines
- Proven experience in switchboard building
- Knowledge of MSB, DDCs, PLCs, and GA layouts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Team player with a proactive and safety-first approach
- Full-time role based in Belmont, WA
