Harmony House provides child-focused services including supervised contact visitations and supervised change overs for families in conflict.

We are looking for a casual qualified Family Support Worker for our Caboolture Centre.

The successful candidate will be available Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Primary duties include:

  • Working with clients with complex needs including domestic violence, family separation, child protection matters, drug, alcohol and mental health issues and trauma.
  • Providing administrative support including contacting clients, scheduling appointments, organising client files and completing client notes.
  • Conducting client intake interviews, child orientation sessions, supervised contact sessions and supervised changeovers.
  • Database entry and accurate financial transactions and records.

Tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences, Social Work and/or Psychology are preferred but not required. If you are currently studying in this field, we encourage you to apply.

Casual staff are paid in accordance with the Social and Community Services Industry Pay Rates Classification Level 3 which includes penalty rates for weekend shifts.
