About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. This role focuses on supporting individuals living with mental health conditions to achieve their goals, build capacity, and engage fully in everyday life.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide a range of services tailored to individual needs, including:

Personal care and daily living support

Community access and social inclusion

Support with mental health and emotional wellbeing

Assistance with medication and health appointments

Goal-oriented support planning

Promoting independence and self-advocacy

Key Responsibilities

Deliver person-centred, trauma-informed support in line with individual NDIS plans

Assist clients with activities of daily living in a safe, respectful, and dignified manner

Promote community participation and facilitate access to services and programs

Monitor and report changes in client wellbeing

Maintain accurate records and documentation

Work collaboratively with clients, families, and support networks

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

A strong understanding of psychosocial disability and mental health support

A person-centred, strengths-based approach to care

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

A calm, professional, and empathetic demeanour

Essential Requirements

Certificate III or IV in Disability, Mental Health, Community Services or related field

NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

Working With Children Check (if required in your state/territory)

Current First Aid and CPR certification

Valid Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle

Full working rights in Australia
