The Role
We're looking for a
graduate-level Sales Engineer
to join our team. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for someone eager to build their career at the intersection of AI, search, and customer-facing engineering.
You'll focus on guiding customers through integrations, and helping them succeed with
Marqo. You'll also
gain exposure to presales and solution design
, supporting senior
engineers and sales teams in demos, proofs-of-concept, and workshops.
What You'll Do
Customer Support
- Act as the first point of contact for customer technical questions and issues.
- Diagnose and resolve product, API, and integration challenges (with
- mentorship from senior engineers).
- Contribute to documentation and build out our knowledge base.
Customer Success & Adoption
- Help onboard new customers and provide best-practice guidance.
- Support technical workshops and customer training sessions.
Presales Exposure
- Shadow senior engineers in technical evaluations, demos, and solution
- design.
- Assist with proofs-of-concept and integration examples.
Product Feedback
- Capture customer insights and recurring issues, relaying them back to
- product and engineering teams.
What You'll Bring
- A bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Some experience with Python and APIs (through projects, internships, or
- coursework).
- Curiosity about machine learning, AI, and/or search systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative, proactive mindset and excitement about working directly with
- customers.
(Internship, research project, or personal project experience is a plus but not required.)
