The Role

As a Service Advisor / Parts Interpreter at Progressive Diesel Maintenance, you'll be the vital connection between our customers and our expert technicians. Based in Arundel, QLD 4214, this full-time role is all about delivering top-tier customer service and technical support in a fast-paced, dynamic workshop environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome customers, identifying their vehicle service and repair needs
  • Assist with parts and accessory enquiries, offering expert advice and product recommendations
  • Prepare accurate quotes and work orders, ensuring clear, honest communication with customers
  • Schedule service appointments and track progress, keeping customers updated throughout
  • Collaborate with the workshop team to ensure work is completed efficiently and on time
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all customer interactions and jobs
  • Provide excellent customer service and help foster a positive, supportive team culture

What We're Looking For
  • Demonstrated experience as a Service Advisor or Parts Interpreter in the heavy automotive industry
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Solid knowledge of heavy vehicle parts, accessories, and repair processes
  • Proficiency with workshop and parts management systems
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks at once
  • A commitment to safety and creating a productive, team-focused environment
