About The Role
We are seeking a detail orientated and driven
Financial Accountant
to play a key role in delivering accurate financial advice and business partnering. Combining strong technical experience with sharp analytical skills and a commitment to accuracy and integrity, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Reviewing monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all group entities
• Assisting Finance Manager in completing the annual financial statements
• Managing annual external audits
• Preparing journals for month end accounting process including accruals and repayments
• Preparing monthly reconciliations for general ledger and control accounts
• Assisting to ensure tax governance framework is adhered to for all key tax and taxation related matters
• Maintaining group business travel policy for FBT purposes
• Preparation and lodgment of FBT return, BAS returns for all entities, monthly PAYGI and PADG, ABS returns
• Assisting with analysis, report preparation, budget and forecast process for the team
• Maintaining salary sacrifice function and control accounts with GL
• Maintaining and developing business policies and procedures and internal control processes

About You

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field
• Currently studying towards or already hold professional membership with CPA, CA or CIMA
• Advanced in MS Excel with proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint
• Exposure to TechOne software is highly advantageous but not essential
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets and assessing ROI.
• Skilled communicator, capable of presenting marketing strategies and insights clearly and persuasively.
• Confident managing multiple projects and stakeholders across strategic and operational levels.
• Comfortable analysing and interpreting data to generate actionable insights.
• A collaborative, solutions focused team player who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
