Problem Manager
. The
Problem Manager
who will provide leadership in managing the development, implementation, and operational capabilities for delivering the highest level of service. The
Problem Manager
plays an important role in the detection and provision of solutions to problems (workarounds and known errors) and in the prevention of their recurrence. Responsible for the development and maintenance of documentation and a genuine understanding, respect and passion for process, this role would suit someone with experience in quality assurance and continuous improvement process.
Responsibilities:
- Problem Lifecycle Management - Responsibile for managing, implementing, and refining the problem management lifecycle and the management of problem tasks
- The core function of Problem Management is to minimize the adverse impact of Incidents on the Clients that are caused by errors within the ICT infrastructure and applications
- Audits and Compliance- with adherence to problem management processes and techniques
- As a problem manager you will do this by ensuring policy, processes and procedures are in place to support business operations
- You will facilitate the integration of effective IT Service Management processes into the day-to-day operation, undertake reporting and analysis, and monitor continual service improvement initiatives across the IT delivery function.
Requirements:
- Experience within an ICT environment
- Strong Service Management knowledge
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Minimum 2-3 years Problem Management experience
- Strong stakeholder management expertise, able to drive process improvement across a diverse and heavily matrixed organisation
- Ability Interact at all levels including technical, Management and Senior Leadership
- Ability to develop & present high impact messages to senior level management both internal and external
