We have a new requirement for a Budget Support Officer, for an initial 6 month contract with possible extension. This role is based in East Perth, and due to commence asap. You will be working a 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday.

The role

You'll be responsible for undertaking business and administrative activities to support the Branch, including:

  • Diary Management;
  • Document control;
  • Payment of accounts and acquittal of credit card expenses;
  • Governance reporting;
  • Training coordination;
  • Assisting with business planning including risks;
  • Management of Human Resource documentation for the Branch.

You'll also be responsible for:

  • Work organisation with the ability to multi-task to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  • Provide business management support and support to Branch
  • Assist in the response for ministerial correspondence
  • Maintain and update monthly and quarterly management reports
  • prioritise, prepare and organise the director and managers diary including appointments
  • Arrange and co-ordinate meetings and functions including agenda, minutes, and participants
  • Prepare, monitor, and oversee air travel and accommodation travel requirements
  • Undertake and assist senior managers in research
  • Co-ordinate fleet allocations as per requirements co-ordinate all new vehicle requests
  • Maintain the Fixed Asset system, including transfer, relocations, audits and stocktake
  • Liaise with others on asset, procurement, management, and disposal matters
  • Maintain and organise the Budget and Programming stationary

You'll ideally have:

  • State Government experience.
  • General business, administration, record keeping and clerical support.
  • Microsoft Office applications such as: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Knowledge of TRIM (Information Management System)
