Brinskew Construction is a leading facade specialist based in East Victoria Park, Perth. We're experts in designing, fabricating, and installing a wide range of architectural steel and aluminium cladding systems.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated Design Draftsperson with a strong background in facade and cladding design to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your technical skill, creativity, and initiative to work on a diverse range of projects in a great working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create CAD drawings for CNC machine production. Machine programing will be highly regarded.
  • CNC machine programming experience is highly regarded but not required for this position.
  • Prepare presentation drawings for tenders, shop drawings for approvals and sales quotes.
  • Conduct research, develop production documents, and liaise with contractors and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with architects, builders, engineers and clients throughout the design process.
  • Maintain drawing registers and document control, manage bill of materials, and assist with production processes.

Key Requirements

  • External cladding and facade design expertise.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in external cladding and facade design is required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Basic 2D drafting proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
  • Ability to read plans, manage take-offs, and think critically.
  • Highly organized, autonomous, and deadline driven.
  • Valid Australian work visa is acceptable for this position.

  • Knowledge of aluminum cladding fabrication.
  • Experience in working with CNC machinery.
