About the role

Exciting opportunity for a talented Customer Service/Administrative professional to join the dynamic team at Hunter ENT Hearing. In this role, you will be based in Broadmeadow NSW 2292 and play a key part in delivering exceptional customer service and administrative support to the business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a healthcare setting, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about supporting both patients and clinicians.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Greet and assist patients with check-in and check-out procedures
  • Managing incoming referrals from GPs, specialist doctors, and third-party providers, ensuring accurate data entry and timely processing
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and patient inquiries for hearing appointments and related matters
  • Supporting Audiologists with daily tasks, including preparing patient files, scheduling appointments and managing follow-ups
  • Process payments, prepare medicare/claims , documentation and maintain up to date knowledge of correct billing procedures
  • Entering incoming stock into the database and maintaining stock levels
  • Provide information on products and services, including hearing aids and accessories, as well as basic troubleshooting and servicing of hearing aids (Training will be provided)
  • Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the front desk and contributing to a positive patient experience

What we're looking for

  • Proven customer service/administrative experience in a client facing role, preferably in an allied/ healthcare or medical environment
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • An up-to-date knowledge in procedure for banking, sales/receipts, EFTPOS, credits, overdue accounts, and daily reconciliation
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook. Experience with client record management software is advantageous
  • A positive and team-orientated attitude with the ability to work autonomously

Job Type:

· days per week with potential for full time.

· Availability to work within standard clinic hours
