Your new role:

As Nurse Unit Manager, you'll lead and coordinate the Specialist Outpatient Department to deliver best practice standards and exceptional patient outcomes. You'll manage resources, guide your team, and contribute to innovative, evidence-based care across diverse clinical settings. You will:

  • Provide advanced clinical and operational leadership across outpatient services
  • Manage human, financial and material resources to ensure service efficiency
  • Drive quality improvement, risk management and best practice initiatives
  • Foster a positive culture of learning, collaboration, and professional growth

About you:

You're a passionate and experienced nurse leader who thrives on driving excellence in patient care and team performance. Your leadership style inspires confidence, accountability and innovation. You will bring:

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Proven experience leading outpatient or clinical nursing teams
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-informed practice and clinical governance
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

Redland Hospital is the major health centre for adults and children in the Redlands and Brisbane's southern bayside suburbs. We provide a range of services including emergency care, primary health and minor injury care, acute and subacute medicine, general surgery, maternity and paediatric, mental specialist outpatient and mental health care.
