We're excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Medical Receptionist to become part of our growing, friendly team at Queensgate Medical Centre.

Our purpose-built center serves the Canning Vale community and surrounding areas, creating an ideal setting for our healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding patient care.

About the Role

As the face of Queensgate Medical Centre, you will warmly welcome patients, manage our appointment and billing system, and assist with triage to provide the best possible care. Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing paperwork accurately.
  • Handling billing and payments using medical software.
  • Faxing, scanning, filing, and mailing documentation.
  • Managing debt collection and daily banking close-off.
  • Monitoring and ordering supplies.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and a calm, welcoming reception area.

About You

To thrive in this role, you should have a minimum of one year of experience in a general practice setting and be skilled at multitasking. Familiarity with medical software, preferably Best Practice, is essential for booking and accounting.

In addition, we are looking for someone who is:

  • Reliable, punctual, and adaptable.
  • A strong team player who embraces workplace culture.
  • Eager to learn and pick up new skills.
  • Available to work on a Saturday roster and cover additional shifts as needed.
