ABOUT THE ROLES

Bakehouse Cafe is hiring a qualified PASTRY CHEF or BAKER, as well as an APPRENTICE (Years 1–4). These full-time roles on the Central Coast involve producing breads, pastries, cakes, and specialty items to consistent standards.

WORK PATTERN

Subject to operational needs, shifts are mainly weekday daytime, providing a stable routine without shiftwork.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce breads, pastries, cakes, and specialty items
  • Operate and maintain equipment safely
  • Maintain product quality and presentation
  • Keep a clean, food-safe workspace
  • Support stock rotation and ingredient management
  • (Apprentice tasks match training level.)

REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFIED

  • Certificate III or higher in Baking or Patisserie
  • Solid commercial experience
  • Consistent product quality and strong organisation skills

REQUIREMENTS - APPRENTICES

  • Interest in baking or pastry
  • Reliable, willing to learn, committed to training
