About Triple Zero Victoria

Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state's emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria's 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role

The Inclusion and Wellbeing Lead will be a key and active participant of the People and Culture (P&C) team. The main function of the role is to manage the psychosocial health, wellbeing and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) component of TZV's Health, Safety & Wellbeing plan.

The role will provide specialist advice to lift the psychological health and DEI culture maturity and capability of TZV's various DEI plans.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Review and contribute to the development and delivery of TZV's Health, Safety & Wellbeing Plan with regards to psychosocial health, wellbeing and DEI.
  • Lead the design, delivery, monitoring and reporting of deliverables across DEI Plans such as TZV's Reconciliation Action Plan, Gender Equality Action Plan and Disability Inclusion Action Plan
  • Provide strategic, specialist advice when reviewing complex psychosocial workplace incident reports and developing psychological risk prevention plans at TZV,
  • Oversee the completion of workplace DEI audits as required by the Gender Equality Commission, and partner with relevant managers to ensure appropriate mechanisms are established for completing and recording Gender Impact Assessments on policies, program and services.
  • Develop training materials and facilitate workshops to diverse audiences on psychological, risk management and DEI.

About You

Ideally, you will have a Tertiary qualification in an Organisational Psychology or related field and significant experience working as a DEI practitioner.

Additionally, it is anticipated you will bring:

  • Demonstrated passion for wellbeing, diversity and inclusion with deep cross-cultural understanding.
  • Expertise in psychosocial risk management with strong knowledge of contemporary frameworks on psychological health and safety, and best practices in workplace mental health and wellbeing.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking with a demonstrated ability to apply organisational psychology principles, interpret complex data and develop evidence-based interventions to address systemic workplace mental health challenges.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to coach leaders, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and drive organisational change
