Little Zak's Academy is a privately owned, family-run early learning service committed to providing safe, inclusive, and high-quality education. We nurture both children and educators, valuing meaningful learning, collaboration, and strong relationships.

We are seeking an experienced Preschool Room Leader to join our Burwood team. You will lead and mentor educators, deliver engaging programs, and work closely with the Centre Director to maintain an exceeding-rated service.

Your Role

  • Lead and mentor educators to deliver high-quality, inclusive learning programs
  • Manage planning, curriculum, and outcomes for each child in your room
  • Ensure all documentation is accessible, meaningful, and regulation-compliant
  • Create a friendly, safe, and stimulating learning environment
  • Maintain positive relationships with families and colleagues
  • Uphold health, safety, and regulatory standards at all times

About You

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (ACECQA-approved)
  • Previous Room Leader experience is advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and National Regulations
  • Outstanding communication—written, verbal, and digital
  • Current Working With Children Check
  • Current First Aid/CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis, and Child Protection training (or willingness to obtain)
  • Unrestricted full-time working rights in Australia
