About the role
As Senior Manager, Partner Acquisition, you'll be at the forefront of our expansion strategy, identifying and securing new software partners across diverse industries. Your ability to build meaningful relationships and develop tailored solutions will drive business growth, open new markets, and create impactful opportunities for our partners. Reporting to the Head of Partner Acquisition, you will work closely with a collaborative and supportive team.
What You'll Be Doing:- Driving Growth: Identify and secure new software partners across emerging and high-potential industries;
- Building Relationships: Develop strong connections with key stakeholders and create strategic partnership opportunities;
- Shaping the Market: Work closely with the team to identify and explore new industries and verticals;
- Creating Tailored Solutions: Conduct in-depth market research to understand pain points, gaps, and opportunities for potential partners;
- Developing Impactful Proposals: Craft compelling business cases, commercial proposals, and agreements to establish joint sales and marketing targets;
- Owning the Sales Pipeline: Build and maintain a strong funnel of potential partners and commercial opportunities;
- Becoming a Product Expert: Gain a deep understanding of Global Payments' solutions to engage in high-level technical discussions and solution design;
- Collaborating for Success: Partner with internal teams to develop and implement partnership support programs and marketing strategies.

What You'll Bring:- Proven success in sales, business development, and partner acquisition, consistently exceeding targets;
- Experience selling enterprise software, SaaS, or CRM solutions (highly regarded);
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a results-driven approach to securing new deals;
- Ability to understand customer needs quickly and position solutions that align with their business objectives;
- Solid grasp of API concepts and integration technologies to support technical sales conversations;
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with a talent for identifying revenue opportunities;
- Exceptional commercial acumen, with experience structuring and negotiating commercial agreements;
- Outstanding communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders;
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a drive to achieve and exceed goals;
- Passion for innovation, growth, and delivering exceptional partner experiences;
- Familiarity with the payments industry is an advantage but not essential.
Salary and location
- The salary range for this role is $150, 000 – 175, 000 base per annum + superannuation + $100, 000 in commission;
- This role can be based in Sydney, Brisbane, or Melbourne and involves regular travel.
