Your RoleIf you've ever dreamed of swapping city stress for sea breezes and community spirit, here's your chance. We're looking for a motivated Store Manager to lead our Vinnies retail store in beautiful Byron Bay. Whether you're seeking a permanent role or a six-month adventure soaking up the Byron lifestyle, we want to hear from you We're also open to working holiday visa holders with the right retail leadership experience.
You'll be the driving force behind our Byron Bay store, leading a vibrant mix of staff and volunteers to create a welcoming space where every sale helps make a difference. You'll manage daily operations, budgets, stock, merchandising and, most importantly, ensure every customer and volunteer feels valued. This is a role that combines community impact with business smarts and a healthy dose of Byron charm.
Your Responsibility· Lead a passionate team of staff and volunteers, building confidence, connection and fun.
· Keep the store thriving through smart roster, great merchandising and excellent service.
· Create beautiful, high quality displays that reflect the vibe of Byron Bay.
· Foster a safe, inclusive and positive environment for everyone who walks through the door.
· Deliver outstanding results while making a real difference in the local community.
You Will Need· Experience leading a retail store or similar, fashion or op-shop experience a plus
· Strong people skills where you can inspire and motivate a diverse team.
· A creative eye for merchandising and an understanding of what makes customers tick.
· Great financial and organisational skills (you know your way around a budget).
· A warm, community minded approach that fits right in with the Byron way of life.
