The Company:

Our client is a global fashion retail group with their head office in the US. Currently they are seeking a driven Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic finance team for an immediate start.

In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping how the finance function supports the wider business, helping to drive efficiency, streamline operations, and contribute to achieving and exceeding the ambitious goals.

The Role:

This opening comes about due to continuous expansion and is a great foot in the door. Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with month end & year end
  • Journal entry preparation
  • BAS preparation
  • Reconciliations - Balance sheet and P&L
  • Review Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
  • Audit preparation
  • Adhoc duties as required

About you:

  • 2+ years' in a similar role before
  • Have started your CA/CPA Program
  • Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
