About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Funeral Services Manager to uphold our tradition of excellence. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee a high-performing team and ensure every funeral service is delivered with empathy, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity.

You will support families throughout their journey before, during, and after the service and build meaningful relationships within the community. This is a purpose driven role where your leadership will make a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead and inspire a team of funeral professionals, fostering a respectful and supportive workplace culture
• Manage daily operations, staffing, and financial performance at a high-volume location
• Ensure services are delivered with care, precision, and attention to detail
• Support families with compassion, clearly communicating options and tailoring services to their needs
• Build strong community connections and uphold the reputation of Tuckers Funerals
• Participate in after-hours duties, including occasional weekend arrangements

About You:

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
• Strong operational, financial, and people management experience
• Deep empathy and sensitivity to the needs of grieving families
• Exceptional communication skills across all levels of the public
• Skilled in administration and computing, with a meticulous eye for detail
• Comfortable working with the deceased and supporting families in emotional circumstances
• Flexible and reliable, with a willingness to work outside standard hours when needed
• Holds an unrestricted driver's license
• 10+ years of experience in the funeral industry will be looked upon favourably
