Job Description / Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations.

The successful candidate will plan, organize, and control production activities to ensure that manufacturing targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met.

This position requires a strong technical background, leadership ability, and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily production schedules and coordinate workflow to meet customer and company demands.
  • Supervise, train, and lead production teams to maintain high levels of performance, safety, and quality.
  • Monitor and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistency in product performance.
  • Coordinate procurement, material handling, and logistics to maintain efficient production operations.
  • Oversee the maintenance and calibration of production equipment and tools.
  • Analyse production data to identify process bottlenecks and propose improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS and environmental standards within the manufacturing facility.
  • Collaborate with the Director and other departments to optimize production planning and cost efficiency.
  • Prepare and present production reports, KPIs, and continuous improvement strategies

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Production Management, Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in managing operations, preferably in manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven experience in planning, process optimization, and resource allocation.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance, workplace health and safety (WHS), and continuous improvement processes.
  • Ability to manage teams, monitor performance, and implement effective work procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
