We're looking for a hands-on, motivated Production Manager to oversee facility management, production, and planning – ensuring safety, quality and efficiency every step of the way.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future on our site operations in the South East suburbs. You'll start in a practical, hands-on capacity and grow into a senior leadership role, managing multiple teams you've developed and inspired.
The position will be in collaboration with national functional leaders, reporting to the Director of Operations – Southern.

In this dynamic leadership role, you'll oversee the daily manufacturing, production planning, and facility operations, ensuring everything runs safely, smoothly and cost effectively.
You'll deliver on key business objectives, while championing a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and operational excellence.

What You'll be Doing
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee daily manufacturing and facility operations, ensuring safety, compliance and cost control.
· Lead and mentor teams to achieve production, quality and on-time delivery targets.
· Manage resource allocation to optimise labour, materials and equipment.
· Collaborate with national leaders to align operational goals and strategies.
· Drive continuous improvement through Lean initiatives and performance productivity targets.
· Plan and execute CAPEX projects to support growth and efficiency.
· Foster a culture of accountability, innovation and excellence.
What You Bring
- Production Management, Engineering, Mechanical Fitting or related field experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in leading teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong track record in driving operational improvements and efficiency gains.
- In-depth knowledge of health, safety culture, SOP's, compliance and environmental standards.
- A natural leader with exceptional communication and coaching skills.
- Lean / Six Sigma certification and mechanical trade background highly regarded.
- Competent skills in use of MS Office Products (Word, Excel).
