Join our Rebuilds Workshop as a Field Service Rebuilds Specialist and take our customer experience to the next level

As a Field Service Rebuilds Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in commissioning, delivering, and ensuring the seamless handover of rebuilt CAT equipment. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will collaborate with a skilled crew to diagnose faults, overhaul machines, and perform thorough inspections—guaranteeing every piece of equipment leaves our workshop in peak condition. Once the rebuild is complete, you will accompany the machine to our customer sites, ensuring a smooth, hassle-free transition and top-tier service experience.

This role is perfect for mechanically minded problem-solvers who thrive on variety and challenge. You'll work across a broad range of CAT machinery—from Off-Highway Trucks to D11 Dozers and a variety of CAT Drills—gaining exposure to cutting-edge equipment and complex diagnostics.

Roster and Remuneration

Lifestyle Roster – WORK HALF THE YEAR

• Complete your nights in 1 swing, every 3 weeks
• Roster Pattern: 5D4O 5N4O – work 15 days out of 28
• Day shift: & Night shift: HR shifts)
• Annual earnings starting from $149,000+
• Tool of trade vehicle + phone + laptop supplied

Skills & Experience

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology with industry experience is essential.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar or similar brand surface mining equipment is essential.
• Experience rebuilding mobile mining equipment is desirable.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure deliveries are made on time and to customer standard
• Attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks to meet Caterpillar quality standards.
• Unrestricted Drivers License
• Applicants with site bans are ineligible

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite point of contact, addressing customer requirements and providing excellent customer service.
• Coordinate onsite assembly and customisation of CAT machinery based on customer specifications.
• Perform repairs, maintenance, and inspections on CAT machinery to ensure optimal working condition before handover.
• Provide travel support, visiting various locations in NSW to offer field service assistance and address customer needs.
• Liaise and coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as Mining Support Representatives and Project Coordinators, to manage customer requests and machine requirements, ensuring a smooth and efficient delivery process.
