Technical Salesperson

We're after a tech-head with people skills – someone who can troubleshoot CCTV and alarm issues like a pro but still hold a conversation that doesn't sound like a user manual. 

At Seadan, we're serious about tech and customer service – but not too serious about ourselves. Our Brooklyn Park branch has only been open six months, and we're building a small, tight-knit team that loves what we do – helping trade customers solve problems and stay ahead of the curve.

The Role

We're looking for a Tech Sales all-rounder who's hands-on, curious, and customer-focused. You'll be the go-to for customers needing support with their security gear – from CCTV and alarms to access control – offering advice, troubleshooting, and real solutions as part of a small team that always pulls together.

• Troubleshoot technical issues across a range of security systems
• Provide in-person and phone support with clarity and patience
• Guide customers toward smart product choices (no pressure, just solutions)
• Assist with product training and demos
• Collaborate with suppliers when issues need escalating

Who You Are

You're probably the person friends call when their tech breaks. You've had enough hands-on experience to wrangle misbehaving gear, and you're just as comfortable talking to a customer as you are updating firmware. 

• You've worked with security products – CCTV, alarms, intercoms, access control
• Logical, calm under pressure, and love figuring things out
• You explain tech without making people's eyes glaze over
• Customer-focused, relationship-driven, and solutions-minded
• Happy to sell when it's genuinely helpful
• Bonus if you're already using tools like ChatGPT to work smarter
