About Us

Helicon Technology is a leader in supplying high-quality biomedical equipment and services, including Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and other life-saving medical devices. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a driven Salesperson to join our Unley-based team and help us make a difference in healthcare across South Australia and beyond.

The Opportunity

In this newly created position, you will report to the Head of Biomedical Engineering and be responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth and delivering outstanding customer experiences, collaborating with hospitals, clinics, aged care facilities, allied health providers, universities, and more to promote impactful solutions.

What you will do

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with private hospitals, clinics, universities, and public health providers.
  • Conduct needs analyses and provide tailored product recommendations.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations and offer technical insights.
  • Prepare professional quotes, manage the whole sales process, and achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate closely with service engineers and operations teams to deliver seamless customer outcomes.
  • Stay up to date with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements (e.g. AS 3551).

About you

You are a motivated, personable sales professional who thrives in technical or healthcare environments. You enjoy working independently, building meaningful relationships, and taking ownership of results.

You will bring:

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within the medical, healthcare, or technical services sector.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
  • A track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience with quoting, invoicing, and CRM/ERP systems.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in accessible terms.
  • A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel as needed.
