Job Requirements
About You
We are currently seeking a Completions Co-Ordinator to support the safe and controlled handover of new and modified assets from the Projects team to Operations at the Iona Gas Storage Facility.
In addition to the Project work, the Completions Co-Ordinator will also support the Operations team executing unit outages and plant shutdowns.
This role is critical for ensuring compliance with Lochard Energy's Completion and Handover processes. It involves verifying that all required field installation checklists and associated QA/QC documentation are complete and accurate, enabling a staged handover from mechanical completion to pre-commissioning and ultimately to Operations.
You will have industry experience in managing project completions and coordinating across engineering, construction, and commissioning. You will have strong organisational skills, an attention to detail, a strong safety focus and the ability to work across teams.
Job Responsibilities
What you'll be doing
Your responsibilities include using smart completion software (PIMS), reviewing QA/QC documentation, assigning field checklists, and supporting quality checks. The role also involves preparing handover documentation, reporting on progress, driving close-out activities, and maintaining registers and punch lists to capture defects where rectification is required. Strong safety leadership and alignment with Lochard Energy's values and policies are essential.
What you'll need
- High school certificate or qualified trade
- Engineering qualifications (Bachelor's degree) in Process, Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation engineering is desirable.
- Minimum 3-5 years industry experience in project completions processes and a sound understanding of project QA/QC requirements
- Experience using completion software/database (PIMs highly desirable)
- Experience working with professional and trades personnel
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings such as single line, loop, Isometric and P&ID drawings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft Suite experience (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Drive for results
- A passion for safety at work and an eye for detail
