Business Systems & Process Manager

Brisbane CBD | $120,000 - $130,000 Package

We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Business Systems & Process Manager to lead internal projects that drive efficiency, innovation, and smooth system transitions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on change management, process improvement, and supporting people through technology transformation.

You won't need to be a technical systems specialist, your real value will come from your ability to navigate change, optimise workflows, and train staff to adopt best practice.

Purpose of the Role

  • Drive operational excellence by identifying inefficiencies and leading the implementation of solutions that improve workflow, productivity, and client service.
  • Bridge the gap between strategy and operations by turning improvement ideas into actionable, system-driven outcomes.
  • Ensure effective use of technology by reducing manual tasks, improving data flow, and enhancing accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support informed decision-making by preparing clear reports and recommendations for leadership.
  • Provide continuity between internal teams and client service, ensuring that changes improve both staff and client experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and map current workflows, systems, and procedures across the firm.
  • Identify areas for improvement, duplication, or manual processes that can be streamlined or automated.
  • Design and document new workflows aligned with best practices and business objectives.
  • Recommend and help implement new technology tools or enhancements to existing systems (e.g. practice management, workpaper, and reporting platforms).
  • Lead rollout and change management processes for new systems, including staff training, user support, and documentation.
  • Prepare structured reports for leadership, including issue analysis, recommended solutions, and cost-benefit evaluations.
  • Champion best practice use of business systems and provide ongoing guidance to staff.
  • Contribute to firm-wide initiatives, projects, and culture-building activities.

About You

  • Proven experience in process improvement, systems implementation, or change management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design practical, scalable solutions.
  • Excellent communication and training skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience preparing structured reports and presenting recommendations to senior leaders.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to champion cultural and process change.
