Who we are looking for?

This is a hands-on role in our Brisbane office and the successful candidate will experience all aspects of the Service Desk, including Triage, Ticket Management and Application Support for our clients with a high focus on customer service.  You will be expected to apply your experience and analytical skills to constantly improve these systems with one goal – ensuring our clients systems meet their business needs.

You will be well familiar with a range of automation tools, the application of those in a Managed Services environment and how they support the principles of ITIL to provide excellent service delivery to our clients. You will have at-least a year of experience in your I.T career.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will have at least one to  three years previous experience in a similar technical role.  Your technical experience includes:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 and other Microsoft Products (Office suite & Office365 Administration, End Point Management),
  • Application, software and hardware support
  • Knowledge of Network troubleshooting DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Servers and Microsoft Azure including Active Directory & Exchange on-premise and Exchange Online.
  • Microsoft Endpoint Administrator with a strong understanding of intune and autopilot
  • Virtual Desktops, Azure Virtual Desktop, Remote Desktop services and Citrix
  • Virtual environments - vSphere & Hyper-V
  • Public Cloud (Azure, AWS)
  • Veeam Backup management
  • Equipment installation including PCs, servers and network equipment
  • Client focus and an excellent customer centric attitude
  • The ability to provide remote and on-site support
  • Connectwise Automate / Manage experience well regarded
  • Experience with Powershell or other scripting language regarded

In addition;

  • You must hold a valid Australian driver's license
  • Some weekend and after hours work will be required

On a personal level:

  • You will need strong written and spoken communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical people
  • You are able to champion an issue through to completion
  • You will be self-motivated and  maintain a sense of urgency as the situation requires; we don't micro-manage your day
  • You will be able to work individually and as part of larger team
