The role

As a Contract Specialist within South East Water's Contracts & Asset Services team, you'll play a key role in driving commercial success across our operations, maintenance, and facilities contracts. This role is responsible for ensuring effective contract planning, execution, and performance, while shaping future contract models aligned with strategic business objectives.

You'll work closely with internal teams including procurement, finance, legal, and operations, as well as external contract partners, to manage contract lifecycles, resolve disputes, and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction. With a focus on compliance, risk mitigation, and performance reporting, you'll help deliver value across a portfolio contributing to opex and capex budgets of approximately $30 million annually.

Who are you?

The preferred candidate will hold demonstrated experience in contract management, with a background in utilities, infrastructure, or facilities management. You will hold strong strategic and commercial acumen, coupled with tertiary qualifications in a related discipline.

You will hold strengths in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and conflict resolution, and with the ability to lead contract performance reviews and navigate complex contractual issues. We're looking for someone that is proactive, analytical, and thrive in a collaborative environment where your insights can shape future contract models and drive continuous improvement.

You will hold excellent communication and project management skills, with the drive to contribute to the successful delivery of South East Water's operational goals.

This role is remunerated at a Level 5, which is between $115,748 and $122,323 + super and offers are commensurate with the successful candidates' experience.
