About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team on a freelance, remote basis, 20hr a week, at AU$1,000 - $2,000/m. The SDR will play a key role in driving our growth by identifying and sourcing potential leads, engaging with prospects, and booking qualified appointments for our Account Manager. This role requires excellent communication skills, persistence, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify new business leads through online platforms, databases, and other prospecting tools.
- Qualify leads by assessing their fit, interest, and potential need for our solutions.
- Conduct outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone to engage with prospects.
- Nurture and build relationships with key decision-makers to create opportunities.
- Book discovery calls and meetings for the Account Manager, ensuring calendar alignment.
- Track all outreach activities and maintain accurate lead data in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot).
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for lead generation and booked appointments.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales Development Representative, Business Development Representative, or similar outbound sales role.
- Strong research skills and ability to generate targeted lead lists.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable using CRM systems, email outreach tools, and ZoomInfo, LinkedIn(or similar).
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple outreach campaigns simultaneously.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in SaaS, digital solutions, or technology sales.
- Familiarity with marketing and lead generation automation tools.
- Knowledge of the digital asset management, marketing software, creative industries landscape.
