Retail Sales and Business Development Manager

Bibendum Wine Co. is one of Australia's most respected wine & spirit importers and retailers. We represent over 120 of the world's great wine domaines, along with an exclusive portfolio of benchmark craft distilleries.
We're seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales and Business Development Manager to lead our retail arm, International Fine Wines.
The role requires excellent sales acumen, personalised brokerage service experience, a deep knowledge and passion for wine and spirits, and experience managing an online wine sales platform. Attention to detail, professional ambition, and strong organisational and administration skills are paramount to being successful in the position.
In addition to working with one of Australia's most dynamic and diverse wine organisations, the role offers:

- A regular Monday-Friday roster based in Melbourne or Sydney.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Deliver excellent service and brokerage advice to clients and collectors.
- Contribute to the development of the annual commercial strategy for International Fine Wines.
- Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Purchasing areas of the business to achieve agreed commercial targets and goals.
- Attract new clients and build support across the portfolio from established clients.
- Manage a dynamic promotions schedule, delivering the content and communications strategy and online sales functions.
- Report on sales outcomes and collaborate with Marketing resources to refine promotional material and strategic planning.
- Ensure customer databases are accurate and optimised.
- Create and deliver a dynamic calendar of events to support the sales strategy.
Applicants should have a minimum of five years' experience in fine wine sales. A demonstrable working knowledge of the Bibendum Wine Co. portfolio will be an advantage.
