A position now exists for a Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team in Adelaide on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled bookkeeping professional, ideally with experience in the hotel or hospitality industry.

Qualifications & experience

  • Qualifications in Bookkeeping or Business Administration will be highly regarded but are not essential.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping role, ideally within a medium to large organisation.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

  • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero, MYOB, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Must be based in Adelaide, South Australia

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Performing weekly cash and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.

  • Efficient processing and management of accounts payable, ensuring timely payments and follow up of vendor queries.

  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.

  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.

  • Liaising with auditors and providing necessary documentation and information as required.
