Your Opportunity | Department Manager – Patisserie Front of House (Full-Time)

We're searching for a dedicated and experienced Department Manager to lead our Patisserie Front of House at LaManna, Essendon Fields.

This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing one of our most iconic departments — where presentation, precision and people come together to deliver moments of indulgence.

You'll take full ownership of daily operations, team performance, and service excellence, ensuring every customer enjoys the same quality, warmth, and attention to detail that define the LaManna experience.

Your Key Responsibilities

Lead & Inspire

  • Manage, mentor and empower a team of passionate Patisserie Front of House members
  • Set clear expectations and lead by example with professionalism, care, and enthusiasm
  • Drive a positive team culture built on respect, teamwork, and pride in presentation

Deliver Operational Excellence

  • Oversee daily operations including rostering, ordering, product rotation, and display standards
  • Maintain impeccable presentation of our cakes and desserts

Enhance the Customer Experience

  • Create a welcoming, polished and memorable environment for every guest
  • Resolve customer queries and feedback with confidence and empathy
  • Ensure every transaction and interaction reflects LaManna's exceptional standards

Safety & Compliance

  • Uphold OHS and Food Safety procedures across all operations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and best practices
What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience leading a team in a retail, café, bakery, or patisserie environment
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills with a hands-on approach
  • A genuine passion for food presentation and customer experience
