We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Department Assistant to join our Café Front of House team. This is a hands-on role where you'll help deliver exceptional customer service, support daily operations, and make every guest feel right at home. Please note, this role is not suitable for students or juniors.
What You'll Do- Provide warm, friendly and efficient service to every customer
- Assist with stock rotation, restocking and maintaining presentation standards
- Help keep service areas clean, organised and well-prepared
- Follow all food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures
- Work collaboratively with your team to keep things running smoothly
- Experience in a café, hospitality or customer service role (preferred)
- Knowledge of food handling and café operations
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong attention to detail
- Great communication skills and team spirit
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays
