The Role

The People & Culture Business Partner is a trusted partner and member of the P&C team, providing forward thinking, future insights and leadership guidance and advice to the Senior Leaders.

Reporting into the Head of People & Culture, this role will effectively partner with the business to align and embed our culture, drive business success through collaborative partnership on end-to-end people solution and provide sound operational advice to the business, in line with their business plans and Crown's policies and procedures.

Please note this is a PART TIME 0.4FTE role (Tues/Wed coverage with flexibility around work hours):

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional, business-focused people and culture services to senior leaders in allocated portfolio
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the allocated portfolio, their business objectives, challenges, risks and strategic goals
  • Develop and facilitate training to People Leaders to effectively manage performance management issues and employee discipline matters in line with Crown's relevant policies and procedures
  • Partner with the Senior Leaders to implement succession plans and talent management strategies
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with key internal stakeholders and build influential partnerships with senior leaders to drive business results
  • Provide input in the review of policies, procedures SOPs, templates and other related documents
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of projects, programmes and procedures that support the strategic direction of the wider People & Culture Team

About you

  • Proven Business Partnering or HR Advisor experience
  • Ability to translate business strategy into tangible people plans
  • Experience in working with Senior Leaders to enable the business strategy
  • A continuous improvement mindset and desire to be a change agent to make a positive difference
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current legislation including Industrial Relations and Equal Employment Opportunity
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing demands
