About the Role

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, cultivating strong client relationships, and closing high-value sales.

You'll work closely with our sales and marketing teams to execute strategies that generate leads, convert prospects, and expand our customer base.

What you'll be doing

  • Identify and pursue new business and account opportunities across relevant markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing B2B clients
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to generate leads and convert them into loyal customers
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align outreach efforts and campaigns
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
  • Represent iTechworld at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demos
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals aligned with company goals
  • Maintain accurate records using CRM tools
  • Provide regular reporting on sales performance and forecasts
  • Share client feedback and market insights to support product development
  • Support onboarding and account management processes

What we are looking for

  • 3+ years in a B2B sales environment with proven success
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies and relationship management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across departments
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and results-driven
  • Knowledge of iTechworld's product range or similar technical products is highly desirable
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Current unrestricted driver's licence
