The role
The Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) Advisor will provide advice, support and partner with line and senior managers on health, safety & wellbeing strategies, initiatives, and activities to deliver continuous improvement in HSW culture.
The HSW Advisor will provide specialist advice to all Crown business units in relation to legislative requirements, practices, systems, and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance and the safety of Crown's employees and patrons. The HSW advisor will also assist in the development and implementation of health and safety related policies and procedures and provide support to the teams HSW Advisor to all matters pertaining to their scope
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor incident/hazard register to ensure all business units incidents reported are actioned in a timely manner and accurately recorded
- Support the Health & Safety Manager in the development of a Health and Safety culture by
promoting a proactive approach to risk management & injury prevention.
- Provide support and expert advice to Health and Safety Committee's and business units across
Crown on Health and Safety issues
- Assist and coordinate annual Audit requirements in accordance with CrownSafe and legislative
framework
- Educate managers and supervisors to ensure compliance with H&S processes and regulatory
compliance requirements.
About you
You'll bring the following:
- Well-developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Significant experience in the development, implementation and maintenance of health and safety management systems Knowledge of contemporary risk management practices and principles
- Health and safety experience in a complex multidiscipline or industrial environment
- Demonstrated understanding and application of current workplace safety, health and environment legislative requirements
- Experience in the development and implementation of safety and wellbeing policies, strategies and procedures
- Demonstrated experience in hazard identification and implementation of risk controls.
- Open to someone willing to work weekends (Desirable)

Due to nature of the business and industry, weekend hours may be required. Flexible working arrangements available.
