Welcome to St John of God Health Care

We operate 26 hospitals and services comprising more than 3,300 hospital beds, including home nursing, disability services and social outreach programs.

The Team

The SJGHC Workforce Shared Services (WSS) team was established in January 2025 to deliver support services to employees (caregivers) across our hospitals, services, and group locations in Western Australia, Victoria, and New South Wales.

  • Work within all relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks.
  • Support ad hoc projects as required.
  • Use Excel and other Microsoft tools to manage and analyse payroll data.
  • Maintain accurate caregiver records and files.
  • Deliver high-quality payroll services with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and caregiver experience.
  • Communicate effectively via email, phone, and in-person interactions.

You will bring a minimum of 3 years' experience in payroll administration, with a strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes and related activities. Your expertise includes interpreting and applying industrial awards, enterprise agreements, and relevant legislation to ensure accurate and compliant payroll outcomes.

With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you're confident in handling complex or sensitive situations with professionalism. You possess strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, along with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Experience with systems such as aPay, UKG, or Workday will be highly regarded.
